Quote:  "I want to give light but not like the candle. I don't want to lose myself in the process... Generosity and self-preservation should be allowed together." Helping people around you is no problem. Everybody needs help, but don't be like the candle you're going to be melting in. It's much more painful to lose yourself than to lose a person there for you. You're going to question your worth and feel abused. For that you will begin to forget how important you are. The person you gave your all will receive the love and care he / she wants, but he / she doesn't deserve. What's wrong with you? The person who gave his all that doesn't get the same amount of attention and shared with others things he / she had. I would say that many people do that in this century, being such a pest and adding too much negative to the life of someone. We are taught to support others in need as a family culture, and with that, I strive to help as much as I c...

Bakit Tayo Nanghuhusga?

Argumentative Essay on The Trojan War

Argumentative Essay on The Trojan War Based from what I've read, Paris made the mistake of choosing love over power and wisdom. Choosing to be impulsive, instead of thinking wisely, From the story is that you must listen to your brain and be rational. People tend to act on impulsive and usually find themselves in trouble. They tend to be reckless and in return they regret this, its like being too weak to face the problem instead. This Greek epic was traced back a long time ago by Homer. according from a website, "daily history" a German archaeologist Heinrich Schliemann discovered a site, this known as "Hisarik". Archaeologist have studied this theory but still can't agree or believe it. Experts are still working on it and are divided over if the war really happened, though the city is real and is now called Turkey, however it doesn't mean that is the city is real then the story is. We cannot call it as pr...

Trojan War

Trojan War On what I've learned war is a situation or period of fighting between two sides that have a goal and that is victory over the other side. Sometimes war is not the answer when it comes to owning a land or arguments, but unlike in the trojan war everything is different. The Trojan War was waged against the city of Troy by the Achaeans. The Trojan War is the most important battle in the Greek mythology it  started as a way for Zeus to reduce the ever-increasing population of humanity and, more practically, as an expedition to reclaim Helen, wife of Menelaos, King of Sparta and brother of Agamemnon. In conclusion sometimes war is not the answer and we have to be careful on the things we do or say because it might hurt others or start a fight.

Nepal's Preparedness Plan

Nepal is a highly disaster prone country. The country has a fault line at the lower part of Nepal between Indo-Australian plate and Eurasian Plate. The fault is more likely part of the Alpine- Himalayan Belt because of the place being near the Himalayans and Mt. Everest. Nepal is also known as “the ceiling of the world” because it has 8 out of 10 of world’s highest mountains. The first in the list is the Mount Everest. It is the collision of these plates that has produced the Himalaya Mountains, and with them, there are earthquakes. The epicenter was near the Chinese border between the capital of Kathmandu and Mt. Everest. For the structure if their buildings, they’re mostly from the Buddha’s period which could be thousands of years ago. The traditional resources were adobe constructions, wooden framed houses and rubble stone masonry were the most popular in villages while urban and suburbs were stone or brick masonry which is 20% of reinforced concrete. So that means that 80% o...

A Reflection of Desiderata

What is happiness for you? Happiness for me is, when you're free from stress like drinking coffee at the mountains and enjoying the breeze. I'am thoroughly more of a troglodyte person, I enjoy being this type because I don't really want to deal with people, just peace even though its just a few minutes I'm already satisfied because I love the feeling that nothing burdens weighing on my mind. Which of the lessons in the poem do you need to learn? Why? "Be yourself". If people can't accept you then accept yourself. You don't need to let anyone that you are beautiful, talented, skillful, you're good at that, you're good at this, let yourself tell you that. We all know that acceptance is hard like being accepted for your flaws is hard. But at the end of the day I'am who I'am if they can't accept that well that's okay because I have a few people that accepts me, I don't need a lot of people to accept me a few is enough. E...
