A Reflection of Desiderata

What is happiness for you?

Happiness for me is, when you're free from stress like drinking coffee at the mountains and enjoying the breeze. I'am thoroughly more of a troglodyte person, I enjoy being this type because I don't really want to deal with people, just peace even though its just a few minutes I'm already satisfied because I love the feeling that nothing burdens weighing on my mind.

Which of the lessons in the poem do you need to learn? Why?

"Be yourself". If people can't accept you then accept yourself. You don't need to let anyone that you are beautiful, talented, skillful, you're good at that, you're good at this, let yourself tell you that. We all know that acceptance is hard like being accepted for your flaws is hard. But at the end of the day I'am who I'am if they can't accept that well that's okay because I have a few people that accepts me, I don't need a lot of people to accept me a few is enough. Each of us is born different, all of us have different abilities, talents, skills. So be different live on your own way or happiness and live to be yourself not anyone else.

Does the poem help you express or resolve your personal struggles/conflicts? How?

It didn't really help me on my personal struggles but it made me realize a little thing about people around me.
In the end everyone just need some understanding in each others problems even though you can't relate it so we can know better of ourselves.
